CPO Bharat ensures children are safeguarded from abuse and exploitation through a robust child safeguarding framework, while encouraging their full participation in temple and devotional activities across ISKCON temples in India. Any credible report of maltreatment or child abuse is treated seriously, handled confidentially, fairly and promptly, in accordance with Indian child protection laws and ISKCON child protection principles.

Those responsible for abuse are removed from positions of authority or trust. Our focus is on awareness, counselling, healing and empowerment through child welfare and prevention programs, creating a safe environment where every child can grow with dignity, confidence and hope within the ISKCON child protection system.
